About the Author
Arthur Ainslie (1871-1940) born Wellesley Pain was an illusionist, stage performer, and author. A regular contributor to Magician Monthly a popular periodical that ran from 1904 until 1913, Ainslie is also suspected of being the author of many books on magic and stage conjure as a ghost writer.
