Throughout many peoples lives they have not had the wonderous joy of learning aboutchristianity. Many people never will as many are not allowed to read the Bible or learnanything about our Lord and his wonderful teachings. How he sacrifi ced his only son sothat our sins may be forgiven. We are very privileged to read a Bible and own one.

When my parents and our Pastor gave me my fi rst Bible at age ten, it was then that I truly started understanding Christianity. I was so happy to have received this gift. I still haveit. It inspired me to want to learn more. Th is is the greatest gift a child, preteen, or adultcould ever hope for.

I was inspired to write this book through the gift given to me at ten years of age. Myunderstanding of the Bible today is truly diff erent from when I was a young girl.

Although my parents are no longer with me nor our pastor, I will be forever grateful tothem. Little did they know just how much inspiration they had given me.
