The author was born in 1923, with knowledge of her previous lives and the Spirit world closer to the surface than usual.   This quickly began seeping through to her consciousness unrecognised through images, dreams, precognition, regression and creativity, disturbing her on the ordinary level.  When a young mother she learned of Spiritualism and that she could heal and was clairvoyant.  She started to develop these gifts until the pressures of family and business life prevented anything other than `distant` healing.
