Alan Brown is a professor of English at the University of West Alabama
in Livingston. He has written extensively about the folklore and ghost
stories of the South. He is the author of Haunted Texas, Haunted
Georgia, Haunted Kentucky, Haunted South Carolina, and Haunted
Tennessee.
